Mazda AC Condenser
Your Mazda AC condenser performs similarly like the radiator. While the heat
exchanger or radiator keep the water circulating through the engine cooling system,
the Mazda AC condenser keeps the refrigerant cool as it flows through your car’s
air conditioning system. The refrigerant which is usually a Freon gas is radiated
by the AC condenser. Passed by the AC compressor, the refrigerant is cooled until
it turns into liquid form. This conversion is aided by the engine fan, although
an additional condenser fan is needed for front-wheel drive cars. While the liquid
refrigerant is warm, it is not as hot as the gas in the compressor. This is further
transformed into cold, gaseous state by the expansion valve, making it more capable
of absorbing the warm air inside the vehicle. Hence, the Mazda AC condenser is
essential for the ventilation especially during summer days.
So before you welcome summer, it is a brilliant idea that you check your AC system.
Do not be like those Mazda drivers who often overlook the AC system especially
their Mazda AC condensers until it malfunctions because when this happens, oftentimes
it is late for simple troubleshooting procedures. Note that your auto air conditioning
is more complex than your household unit. It will start to malfunction when Freon
levels are low, hence you need to check the Freon level at regular intervals.
Basically, the capacity of the Freon to carry heated air away and leave cool air
behind is dependent upon the pressure applied to it. In this process the air that
comes into the condenser is of good help. If you have noticed, in some older air
conditioner models, the temperature is cooler when the vehicle travels at full
speed than when it is idle. Here, the pressure is allowed to pump Freon harder
and faster and this making the AC system works much more efficiently.
For all Mazda auto parts, care and attention is necessary to make them perform
at their best. For example, you need to be certain that the electric cooling fan
responsible for taking the air in is working well to keep the performance of the
auto air conditioning unit run smoothly as well as to prevent temperature changes.
Note that motor overheating adversely affects your AC system as it does all the
aspects of vehicle operation. The fan may not work the way it should when the
motor is shot. The heat added by the motor makes it hard for the air conditioner
to cool the interior of the vehicle. So, when an indication of trouble with the
AC system occurs, be alert enough to diagnose the problem. Early move is necessary
since having a serious trouble with the system entails breaking a serious amount
of bucks. A severely damaged Mazda AC condenser needs to be replaced. Good thing
we have Mazda auto parts including Mazda AC condensers. So check us out!
