Mazda Cornering Light

A
Mazda cornering light is just one of the many lights that the Mazda automobile
possesses. Mazda cornering lights are standard Mazda auto parts. A cornering light
is seldom considered by most people as a safety device. If you ask a number of
people to innumerate the safety devices of an automobile, the cornering light
is seldom mentioned. Airbags and seatbelts are typically mentioned as safety devices
in an automobile. Headlights are also often considered as safety device. However,
cornering lights are often times forgotten. Although cornering lights are small,
their role in the safety of the automobile is essential. They may not illuminate
the road the way headlights do, but they are signaling lights that can prevent
accidents. Unlike airbags or seatbelts that cushion the body during collision,
cornering lights are not proactive safety devices. Rather, they are preventive
safety devices.
As a preventive safety device, the Mazda cornering light is concerned with signaling
other motorists or pedestrians than in absorbing impacts. By signaling other motorists
or pedestrians, potential accidents are averted. Cornering lights are installed
in an automobile in four units, but they work in pairs. There are two cornering
lights that can be found on the front part of the vehicle. There are also two
cornering lights that can be found on the rear part of the vehicle. However, the
corner lights work in synchrony as front and rear pairs. Hence, when the left
front corner light is flashing, the left rear corner light is also flashing. Conversely,
if the right front corner light is flashing, the right rear corner light is also
flashing. The front and rear corner lights are coordinated, not the left and right
corner lights.
Rear cornering lights should not be confused with tail lights or backup lights.
Tail lights and backup lights have separate bulbs and circuitry. They also have
distinct functions. Tail lights are always on during low visibility situations
such as night time or foggy days. Their main purpose is to keep the vehicle visible.
On the other hand, backup lights are only used when the vehicle is backing up.
It flashes and sometimes accompanied by beeping sound. However, the cornering
light, the tail light, and the backup light are all categorized as signal lights.
Hence, Mazda cornering light is a signal light.
Safety in driving is more important than engine performance or comfort amenities.
The automobile is not a viable means of transportation if it is not safe to drive.
Cornering lights are just some of the safety devices of an automobile that should
not be neglected or taken for granted. Installing high quality cornering lights
will not only help safe driving, it will also significantly improve the aesthetic
appearance of your vehicle.
