Mazda Windshield Wiper
The

the motor.
A short cam is connected to the output shaft of the gear reduction which spins
around as the wiper motor runs. This is coupled to a long rod; when the cam spins,
it allows the rod to move back and forth. The long rod couples to a short rod
that drives the Mazda windshield wiper on the driver’s side. Another long rod
transfers force from the driver-side to the passenger-side windshield wiper. A
wiper blade is attached on the wiper which works like squeegees. As the arm of
the wiper moves, it drags the thin rubber strip of the wiper blade across the
windshield to clear away the water or other grimes, without leaving any streaks.
